Problem Cause and remedy
Water leaks from the
dr
yer after the
condenser unit has
been cleaned.
The inner cover of the condenser unit has not been
lock
ed properly and/or the condenser unit has not
been positioned correctly.
Fluff has collected in the condenser unit housing.
Ensur
e that the condenser unit is positioned
correctly and lock the inner cover.
Check the rubber seals.
Use a cloth
to remove any visible fluff from the
inside of the condenser unit housing.
A programme does not
star
t
No obvious cause.
Conn
ect the tumble dryer to the mains
T
urn on the tumble dryer
Close the door
Check whether the mains fuse has tripped
Has there been a power cut? When power is restored
any pr
eviously running programme will restart
automatically.
The interior drum
lighting does not come
on
The lighting switches off automatically (to save
e
nergy).
Sw
itch the dryer off and then on again.
The lamp needs changing. Change the lamp as
described at the end of this section.
