20 Using Your Phone
Installing the SIM Card
Your SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module)
contains your phone’s number, service details, and
memory for storing Phone Book entries and
messages. This means you can use your SIM card

go on your account.
Caution:
Avoid bending, scratching, or exposing
your card to static electricity or water.
Make sure your phone is powered off before
inserting or removing the SIM card. If you don’t, you
may damage the memory on your SIM card.
