5.3 Remote Loop-Back
This test loops the signals arrived from the remote office directly back to the remote office so as to have the
remote office perform verification of the normality of the line (the transmission line between the DLI and
the DRU) by Remote Loop-Back Check. (The self office only sets loop-back but cannot verify the normal-
ity of the line.)
In case a transmission equipment is provided between the DLI and the DRU, this test is to be set in answer
to a loop-back request from the transmission equipment.
