4-6. PT Name List and Code List
Two List files are stored in the instrument by default.
One is for PT name input and the other is for CD input.
Structure of these files is the same and the basic functions are common, i.e., Delete,
Edit, Add item/code and Add Layer.

PT name List is useful when you have to handle a couple of types (patterns) of point
names, i.e., PT=1,2,3… , PT=A1, A2, A3… and PT=T-100, T-101… in the field.

Code List is a prepared list of feature codes. You can store your own codes using this
function.
Press [4] to show the current PT name List.
Or, press [5] to go to the feature code List.
The PT names and layers (or Codes and layers when
[5.Code List] is selected) are shown in alphabetical
order. By four softkey functions, you can customize
the List.
• Up to 254 codes (or PT name) and/or Layers can be stored.
• Each code (or PT name) and Layer name can be max 16 characters.
• ‘First character search’ is available to find a Code (or Layer). While the “List” screen
is shown, type the first character of the string you are about to find. (See p.3-13)
