JLIP (Joint Level Interface Protocol) Identification Number
The camcorder has a JLIP connector that may be used in the future to connect a
device, such as a home computer.

To Select a JLIP ID NO.
1. Place the POWER switch in CAM-
ERA. The power indicator will light.
2. Make sure the AE dial is not set to
AUTO.
3. Press the MENU button. The
recording menu will appear in the
viewfinder.
4. Press + or - to select a JLIP ID NO.

REC TIME OFF
SET CHARACTER
DATE/TIME
END :MENU KEY

Press < or I_ in the center of the AE
dial to select a number from O1to 99.
Use the number you select to identify
your camcorder if you connect it to a
computer using the JLIP connector.
