Dark spots appear in light-colored images
After fixing the ink, dark spots may appear on the spots.
Causes:
The following causes are possible.
• The height of the image size being less than 100 mm,* and the drying time of the white ink being
short.
*If the image size is too small, the proper drying time cannot be ensured after the white ink prints.
• The garment is not pretreated properly.
• The design of the image uses a lot of dark colors.
• Large amounts of white ink being ejected. (Intensity is set to 100 instead of the default value of 98.)
• Color ink flowing when white ink is set to white solid mode (flooding or minimum 100 of brightness).
Solutions:
See the solutions on page 208, “If bleeding occurs”.
If the problem persists, perform the following.
• The pretreatment concentration may be high.
It is recommended to replace with a new pretreatment liquid or change the dilution ratio from pure
water = 2:1 to (2.5~3):1.
• Check the storage status of the garment after pretreatment, and note the following points.
Make sure it is dry before storing.
Do not store for too long.
Do not store in a humid environment.
• There is a possibility that the brand or type of printed fabric is bleeding easily.
If possible, change the brand or type of printed fabric.
