When white spot appears
For image types with solid ink, white spot appears on the surface after fixing the ink with a heat press.
Causes:
It may occur when the white ink is not sufficiently dried.
The following causes are possible.
• The height of the image size being less than 100 mm,* and the drying time of the white ink being
short.
*If the image size is too small, the proper drying time cannot be ensured after the white ink prints.
• The design of the image uses a lot of dark colors.
• Large amounts of white ink being ejected. (The intensity is set to 100 instead of the default value of
98.)
• Color ink flowing when white ink is set to white solid mode (flooding or minimum 100 of brightness).
• It is set to use a lot of color ink.
Solutions:
See the solutions on page 208, “If bleeding occurs”.
If the problem persists, perform the following.
• Set drying time longer.
• At the time of fixing the ink, the normal fixing is carried out after leaving a gap of about 1 to 2 cm for
about 10 seconds without touching the medium with the heat press.
• There is a possibility that the brand or type of printed fabric is bleeding easily.
If possible, change the brand or type of printed fabric.
