3.2 Entering Values
Values can be entered in the input fields and combined input/output fields
which are then transferred to the PLC. To do so, touch the corresponding field.
The foreground and background colors of a selected input field are inter-
changed. Depending on the display type configured, the system opens one of
the input windows for
S numeric inputs,
S alphanumeric inputs,
S symbolic inputs.
The input window is closed following a valid input. The foreground and back-
ground colors of the field being edited are reset and the new value is applied to
the input field.
3.2.1 Entering Numerical Values
Enter numbers in the fields configured for pure numeric input, digit for digit,
using the numeric keypad of the input window illustrated in figure 3-2.
