Permitted mounting positions
Note
The device is only approved for operation in closed rooms.
Ensure the required minimum clearance to other components or
enclosure panels:
Underneath at least 100 mm
Above at least 50 mm
Points to note with expansion cards
Expansion cards may impose restrictions on the installation location (fire-proof enclosure)
and permitted mounting positions (see Technical specifications). If the device has been
fitted with expansion cards, please observe the safety and installation instructions for the
expansion cards in the corresponding documentation.
If in doubt, install the device in an enclosure that is compliant with IEC/UL/EN/DIN-EN
60950-1, sections 4.6 and 4.7.3.
Horizontal mounting is the preferred position. The horizontal mounting options are as follows:
Installation on a DIN

The interfaces are at
the bottom.

The device can be mounted vertically on DIN rails or on the wall. The figure shows the
interfaces on the front.
