4.5.3 Installing and Uninstalling the Floppy/CD ROM Drive or
Removable Rack
Caution
Drives are sensitive components and may not be exposed to high shock loads.
When installing and uninstalling the drives, make sure they do not open or
overturn.
1. Open the housing as described in Section 4.1.2 and 4.1.3.
2. Undo the accessible data and power supply cables on the device and then
remove the drive support module from the housing as described in section
4.5.1.
3. Remove the drive, if any, on the drive support on the side.
4. Remove the data and power supply cables on the drive.
5. Remove the four screws (1) on the CD drive or floppy disk drive you want to
uninstall (2). You can reach the fixing screws on the right side of the drives via
the opening in the drive support.
6. Proceed in reverse order when installing the new drive.
