9.1 Cause / Remedy
In case of software errors reinstall your software using the Rack PC IL 40 S
Documentation and Drivers CD or the Restore CD.
Rack PC IL 40 S Documentation and Drivers CD: contains the documentation
and the hardware drivers.
Restore CD: contains an hard disk image file with the original delivery software
(Operating system with installed hardware drivers).
You can boot from the Restore CD by pressing the F12 key during the self-test
phase.
To restore all directories and files that were copied to your hard disk at the first set
up proceed as follows:
• Check whether you can restore your authorization on your hard disk. Refer to
the respective software on how to proceed.
Then proceed as described in Section 9.2.
