BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT
• Remove the right rear wheel. (!7-11)
• Remove the brake caliper mounting bolts
1.
• With pushing the caliper holder
2, remove the brake pads.
$
• Install the new brake pads in the reverse order of removal.
• Tighten the brake caliper mounting bolts
1 to the specified
torque.
# Brake caliper mounting bolts:
32 N·m (3.2 kgf-m, 23.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
After replacing the brake pads, pump the brake lever a few times
to check for proper brake operation and then check the brake
fluid level.
* Do not operate the brake lever during or after brake
pad removal.
* Replace the brake pads as a set, otherwise braking
performance will be adversely affected.
