Making P25 trunk calls 61
Unconnected calls
If your call is not connected, the way your radio
behaves is explained in the following table.
Radio behavior Explanation
The system is too busy to process your
talkgroup or individual call.
Three short beeps.
The system is now available to process
your talkgroup or individual call.
Five beeps, followed by
a repeating double beep.
You have selected a talkgroup that does
not currently exist on the system.
Your display shows that you don’t have
trunk service and no longer appears.
See "Service is lost" on page 56.
Two short beeps.
You have attempted to make an individ-
ual call to a radio that does not currently
exist on the system.
You have attempted to make an individ-
ual or phone call, but you are not autho-
rised to do this.
Your individual or phone call has been
rejected or is unanswered.
One boop.
You have entered a number that is out-
side the permitted range.
One boop.
The called party is busy on another call.
One boop.
The dialed number is not configured on
the network.
