Sections
Theboom-sectionliftswitchesonthesprayercontrol
panelallowsyoutomovetheouterspraysections
betweentransportpositionandspraypositionwithout
leavingtheoperator'sseat.Wheneverpossible,stop
themachinebeforechangingspraysectionpositions.
ChangingtheSpraySection
Position
Performthefollowingstepstomovetheouterspray
sectionstotheSPRAYposition:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Usetheboom-sectionliftswitchestolowerthe
outersections.
Note:Waituntiltheouterspraysectionsreach
thefull,extendedsprayposition.
Completethesprayerjob,thenperformthefollowing
stepstoretracttheouterspraysectionsintothe
transportposition:
Important:IfyourmachinehastheDrift
ReductionBoomShroudKit,theUltraSonic
BoomLevelingKitinstalled,orbothmovethe
outerspraysectionstothetransportpositionone
atatime.
Movingthebothouterspraysectionsatthesame
timewiththeshroudkitorlevelingkitinstalled
maydamagetheshrouds,thesensors,orboth.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Usetheboom-sectionliftswitchestoraisethe
outerspraysections,untiltheyhavemoved
completelyintoboom-sectiontransportcradles
formingthe“X”transportposition,andthelift
cylindersarefullyretracted.
Important:Releasetheboom-sectionlift
switch(es)oncetheouterspraysections
havereachedthedesiredposition.Running
theactuatorsagainstthemechanicalstops
maydamagetheliftcylindersand/orother
hydrauliccomponents.

Important:Topreventdamagetotheliftcylinder,
makesurethattheactuatorsarefullyretracted
beforetransportingthemachine.
UsingtheBoom-SectionTransport
Cradle
Thesprayerisequippedwithboom-sectiontransport
cradlesthathaveauniquefeature.Intheevent
thespraysectionaccidentallycontactswithalow
overheadobjectwhileinthetransportposition,you
canpushthespraysection(s)outofthetransport
cradles.Ifthisoccurs,thespraysectionscometo
restinanearhorizontalpositiontotherearofthe
machine.Whilethismovementwillnotdamagethe
spraysections,theyshouldbeimmediatelypositioned
intothetransportcradle.
Important:Thespraysectionscanbedamaged
bytransportingtheminanypositionother
thanthe“X”transportpositionusingtheboom
transportcradle.
