8.Installtheoil-llercapintothellerneckandthe
dipstickintothedipsticktube(Figure77).
9.Starttheengineandcheckforoilleaks.
10.Shutofftheengine,wait2to3minutes,remove
thedipstick,andchecktheoillevelintheengine.
Note:Ifneeded,removetheoil-llercap,add
thespeciedoiltobringtheoilleveltothefull
markonthedipstick,andinstalltheoil-llercap.
11.Installthedipstick,engineheatshield,andtilt
theseatsdown.
CheckingthePCVValve
ServiceInterval:Every1,000hours
1.Tiltthedriversseatforwardandaligntheprop
rodintothedetentintheprop-rod-guideslot.
2.RemovethePCVvalvefromthettingofthe
valvecover(Figure78).
Note:DonotseparatethehosefromthePCV
valve.
