Ifthebrakepedaltravelsmorethan2.5cm(1inch)
beforeyoufeelresistance,adjustthebrakesas
follows:
1.Positionthesprayeronalevelsurface,shutoff
thespraypump,shutofftheengine,andremove
thekey.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Putblocksunderthewheelstopreventthe
machinefromrolling.
4.Releasetheparkingbrake.
5.Loosenthefrontjamnutsonthebrakecables
underthefrontendofthesprayer(Figure94).

Belt
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst8hours
Every100hours
Checktheconditionandtensionofthe
alternator/coolingfanbelt.Replacethebelt
asnecessary.
1.Positionthesprayeronalevelsurface,engage
theparkingbrake,shutoffthespraypump,shut
offtheengine,andremovethekey.
2.Checkthealternator-belttensionbydepressing
thebeltmidwaybetweenthealternatorandthe
crankshaftpulleyswith10kg(22lb)offorce.
Note:Thebeltshoulddeect10to12mm
(0.39to0.47inches).Ifthebeltdeectionistoo
much,gotostep3.Ifthebelttensioniscorrect,
youmayskiptheremainderofthisprocedure
andresumeoperatingthesprayer.
3.Loosentheboltatthepivotpointofthe
alternator;loosentheboltthatsecuresthe
alternatortotheslottedbrace(Figure95).
