Stationarymodesincludetankagitation,hand

Usethefollowingprecautions:
•Avoidstationarysprayingwhenconditionsare
veryhotand/ordry,asturfcanbemorestressed
duringtheseperiods.
•Avoidparkingontheturfwhilestationaryspraying.
Parkonacartpathwheneverpossible.
•Minimizetheamountoftimethemachineisleft
runningoveranyparticularareaofturf.Bothtime
andtemperatureaffecthowmuchthegrassmay
bedamaged.
•Settheenginespeedaslowaspossibleto
achievethedesiredpressureandow.This
minimizestheheatgeneratedandtheairvelocity
fromthecoolingfan.
•Allowheattoescapeupwardfromtheengine
compartmentbyraisingtheseatassembliesduring
stationaryoperationratherthanbeingforcedout
underthevehicle.
SprayingTips
•Donotoverlapareasthatyouhavepreviously
sprayed.
•Watchforpluggednozzles.Replaceallwornor
damagednozzles.
•Usethemastersectionswitchtostopthespray
owbeforestoppingthesprayer.Onceitstops,
usetheengine-throttlecontroltoholdtheengine
speeduptokeeptheagitationrunning.
•Youwillobtainbetterresultsifthesprayeris
movingwhenyouturnthespraysectionson.
UncloggingaNozzle
Ifanozzlebecomescloggedwhileyouarespraying,
cleanthenozzleasfollows:
1.Stopthesprayeronalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,andengagetheparkingbrake.
2.SetthemastersectionswitchtotheOFFposition
andthensetthesprayer-pumpswitchtothe
OFFposition.
3.Removethecloggednozzleandcleanitusinga
spraybottleofwaterandatoothbrush.
4.Installthenozzle.

•Beforeyouleavetheoperator’sposition,dothe
following:
–Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
–Engagetheparkingbrake.
–Shutofftheengineandremovethekey(if
equipped).
–Waitforallmovementtostop.
•Afteryounishoperatingthemachinefortheday,
washoffallchemicalresiduefromtheoutside
ofthemachineandensurethatthesystemhas
beenneutralizedandtriplerinsedaccordingtothe
recommendationsofthechemicalmanufacturer(s)
andthatallthevalveshavebeencycled3times;
refertoChemicalSafety.
•Allowtheenginetocoolbeforestoringthemachine
inanyenclosure.
•Neverstorethemachineorfuelcontainerwhere
thereisanopename,spark,orpilotlight,such
asonawaterheaterorotherappliance.
•Keepallpartsofthemachineingoodworking
conditionandallhardwaretightened.
•Replaceallworn,damaged,ormissingdecals.
CleaningtheSprayer
Washthemachineasneededusingwateralone
orwithamilddetergent.Youmayusearagwhen
washingthemachine.
Important:Donotusebrackishorreclaimed
watertocleanthemachine.
Note:Donotusepower-washingequipmenttowash
themachine.Power-washingequipmentmaydamage
theelectricalsystem,loosenimportantdecals,or
washawaynecessarygreaseatfrictionpoints.Avoid
