most appropr iate ti ming for t ire rotat ion
may vary accordi ng to your driving hab-
its and road surface conditi ons.

When rot ating tir es, c heck for uneven
wear and damage. Abnormal wear is us u-
ally c aused by inc orrec t t ire press ure, im-
proper wheel ali gnment, out −of−bal ance
wheels, or s evere brak ing.

Your front tires are equi pped wit h a
special clip and plate washer designed
to retain the inf lati on valve stem.
When repl acing a front ti re, be s ure to
move the clip and washer to the new ti re.
The spare tir e originall y instal led has the
same clip and washer in c ase it repl aces
a flat front t ire.
NOTICE
Do not drive with t he clip or washer
removed. It may r esult in ti re damage.
WHEN TO USE SNOW TIRES OR
CHAINS
Snow tires or chains are recommended
when driving on snow or ice.
On wet or dry roads , convent ional tir es
provi de better tr acti on than snow tires .
SNOW TIRE SELECTION
If you need snow tires, sel ect tir es of
the same siz e, constr uction and l oad
capacity as t he or iginall y instal led tir es.
Do not use t ires other than t hose m en-
tioned above. Do not ins tall st udded tir es
without fi rst c hecki ng loc al regul ations for
possi ble rest ric tions .
CAUTION
Do not use snow t ires other t han t he
manufactur er ’s r ecommended siz e, as
this may cause dangerous handling
