NOTICE
Do not over fill t he cells. Excess el ec-
trol yte coul d squirt out of t he batter y
during heavy char ging, causing corr o-
sion or damage.
During recharging, the bat tery i s pro-
ducing hydrogen gas.
Therefor e, before rec harging:
1. If rechar ging wi th the battery inst alled
on the vehicl e, be sure t o disc onnect
the ground cable.
2. Be s ure t he power switc h on the re-
charger i s off when c onnect ing the
charger cables to t he batter y and when
disc onnecti ng them.
CAUTION
Always char ge the battery i n an un-
confined area. Do not char ge the bat-
tery in a garage or closed room
where there is not suffici ent ventil a-
tion.
NOTICE
Never recharge the batter y while the
engine i s running. Also, be sur e all
accessories are tur ned off.
