The following illustrations show how to
gain acc ess to the bulbs . W hen r eplaci ng
a bulb, make sure the engine swi tch and
light s witc h are off. Us e bulbs wi th the
wattage rati ngs given in the table.
CAUTION
D To prevent bur ning yourself , do not
replace the light bulbs while they
are hot.
D Halogen bulbs have pressuri zed gas
inside and require special handling.
They can burst or shatter if
scratched or dropped. Hold a bulb
only by its plast ic or metal case.
Do not t ouch the glass part of a
bulb with bare hands.
NOTICE
z Only use a bulb of the li sted type.
z Use bulbs for the 12 V system.
The ins ide of t he l ens of ex teri or l ights
such as headlights may temporari ly fog up
when the lens bec omes wet in t he rai n or
in a car wash. This is not a problem
because the f ogging is caus ed by the
temperat ure differenc e bet ween t he outs ide
and ins ide of the lens, just li ke the
windshi eld f ogs up in the rain. However, i f
there is a large drop of water on t he
insi de of t he lens , or if ther e is water
pooled ins ide the light, cont act y our
