Use to study the base of the skull,
horizontal angulation of the mandibular
condylar axis, sphenoidal sinus,
curvature of the lower jaw, side wall of
the maxillary sinus, and zygomatic arch
fractures. Also useful to study the inner
and outer alar plates and holes at base
of the skull.
Waters
View
Use to study the frontal sinus,
antrum ethmoidale, optic disc pit,
frontozygomatic suture, nasal cavity,
coronoid process between the upper jaw
and zygomatic arch.
CARPUS
Use to assess hand bone age and
compare with changes in the skull.
