Flasher Unit Actuation Test
1. Set the hazard switch to the ON position, and make sure the
hazard light gives 60 to 85 flashes for a minute.
2. Set the main switch to the ON position and move the turn signal
switch to the left. Make sure the left-hand light gives flashes.

(1) Checking
Engine Oil Pressure Switch Panel Board and Wiring Harness
1. Disconnect the lead (2) from the engine oil pressure switch after
turning the main switch OFF.
2. Turn the main switch ON and connect a jumper lead from the
lead to the chassis.
3. If the engine oil pressure indicator lamp does not light, the panel
circuit or the wiring harness is faulty.

Engine Oil Pressure Switch Continuity
1. Measure the resistance across the switch terminal and the
chassis.
2. If 0 Ω is not indicated in the normal state, the switch is faulty.
3. If infinity is not indicated at pressure over 4.9 kPa (0.5 kgf/cm
2
, 7
psi), the switch is faulty.
