Optimize PDF For Web View
Creates a PDF file that displays the first page in a user's web browser, before the entire
file is downloaded from a web server. This feature alleviates user frustration in waiting
for an entire file to download by displaying part of the file's contents at once.
Read Receipts
This feature allows you to request recipients notify you by e-mail that they have
received your e-mail attachment.
NOTE: This feature is displayed only when you have selected [E-mail].

Select [Read Receipts] on the
[E-mail Options] screen.
2.
Select [On] to enable the
feature.
3.
Select [Save].
Split Send
This feature allows you to divide large scanned data files into multiple e-mail messages
of a specific data size.

NOTE: This feature is displayed when a split count value is specified in [Maximum
Split Count] in the System Administration mode and the [E-mail] service is selected on
the All Services screen. For details on the [Maximum Split Count] setting, refer to the
Setups chapter in the System Administration Guide.

Select [Split Send] on the [E-
mail Options] screen.

Select the required option.
3.
Select [Save].
Split by Page
Splits scanned data into pages. Select this option when e-mail recipients use e-mail
applications that do not support RFC2046, such as Outlook and LotusNotes.
Split by Data Size
Splits scanned data by data size if the e-mail size exceeds the value specified in
[Maximum Data Size per E-mail] in the System Administration mode. Select this option
when e-mail recipients use e-mail applications that support RFC2046, such as Outlook
Express. For information on the [Maximum Data Size per E-mail] setting, refer to the
Setups chapter in the System Administration Guide.
