Group 03: FB Actual Signals
This group monitors fieldbus communications.
Code Description
0301 FB CMD WORD 1
Read-only copy of the Fieldbus
Command Word 1.
• The fieldbus command is the
principal means for controlling the
drive from a fieldbus controller. The
command consists of two Command
Words. Bit-coded instructions in the
Command Words switch the drive
between states.
• To control the drive, using the
Command Words, an external
location (
EXT1 or EXT2) must be
active and set to
COMM. (See
parameters 1001 and 1002.)
• The control panel displays the word
in hex. For example, all zeros and a 1
in Bit 0 displays as 0001. All zeros
and a 1 in Bit 15 displays as 8000.
0302 FB CMD WORD 2
Read-only copy of the Fieldbus
Command Word 2.
• See parameter 0301.
0303 FB STS WORD 1
Read-only copy of the Status Word 1.
• The drive sends status information to
the fieldbus controller. The status
consists of two Status Words.
• The control panel displays the word
in hex. For example, all zeros and a 1
in Bit 0 displays as 0001. All zeros
and a 1 in Bit 15 displays as 8000.

Read-only copy of the Status Word 2.
