Adjusting the Picture: Exposure, Focus and Color ••••• -----------
1 Adjust the zoom.
2 Press IFOCUS I.
"MF" appears.
3 Adjust (.T) the focus as required
until the image appears focused.
Pressing IFOCUS I again will return the
camcorder to autofocus.

The focus is automatically fixed on the
center
AF frame. This is convenient for
making sure the focus
is exactly where you
want
it.
A single focusing frame appears in the
center of the screen wh'en making the
selection;
it will appear also while actually
recording.
Depending
on the shooting conditions, one
or more
AF frames out of the nine frames
available are automatically selected and
the focus
is fixed on them.
Four framing corners will appear on the
screen when making the selection; they
do
not appear while actually recording.
Select ( •• ) the autofocus mode.
* Except for the [II FIREWORKS] recording
program.
You can change the AF (autofocus) frame
selection mode. When the mode switch is
set to
fD), 9 point AiAF is automatically
selected.
