The printer makes a strange noise when the
CR is moving.
The tension of the CR TIMING BELT
is not proper.

Correct the tension of the CR TIMING BELT.

Lubrication of the CR UNIT and CR
shaft is insufficient.
Does the CR UNIT move smoothly? Check it by pulling
the CR TIMING BELT.
If the unit does not move smoothly, lubricate it.
CR SCALE or CR ENCODER
SENSOR failure
1. Is the CR SCALE damaged or contaminated?
2. Is the CR SCALE installed properly?
3. Is the CR ENCODER SENSOR installed correctly?
1. Clean the CR SCALE.
2. Reinstall the CR SCALE and CR ENCODER
SENSOR.
3. Replace the CR SCALE (Page 123) and CR
ENCODER SENSOR (CR UNIT) (Page 138).
Unexpected force was applied to the
tubes.
Are the parts around the tubes assembled correctly? Install them properly.
If any of the remedies above does not help, replace the CR MOTOR ASSY. (Page 125)
Abnormal noise when TF is operating
Lack of lubricate on the moving parts of
BELLOWS ASSY.

Lubricate the LEFT FRONT COVER and RIGHT
FRONT COVER (Page 294).
