• Setting Up the Printer
1 Click Start All Programs Fuji Xerox Fuji Xerox Printer Software for Asia-Pacific your printer
Printer Setting Utility.
NOTE:
• The window to select a printer appears in this step when multiple print drivers are installed on your computer. In this
case, click the name of the desired printer listed in Printer Name.
The Printer Setting Utility appears.
2 Click the Printer Maintenance tab.
3 Select Network Settings from the list at the left side of the page.
The Network Settings page is displayed.
4 Select the Enable check box of Wi-Fi Direct under Wi-Fi Direct Setup.
When you use a Wi-Fi Direct certified mobile device (including the device with the Wi-Fi Direct PIN function),
proceed to step 6.
When you use a mobile device that is not Wi-Fi Direct certified, or mobile device with WPS-PBC (Wi-Fi
Protected Setup™-Push Button Configuration), WPS-PIN (Wi-Fi Protected Setup-Personal Identification
Number), proceed to step 5.
5 Select Group Owner under Group Role.
For a mobile device with WPS-PBC
a Select WPS Method.
b Select Push Button Control.
The printer is ready to use the WPS-PBC connection.
For a mobile device with WPS-PIN
a Select WPS Method.
b Select PIN Code to check the PIN code.
The printer is ready to use the WPS-PIN connection.
NOTE:
• To confirm the printer's PIN code, you can also print the list by selecting Print PIN Code under the WPS Method menu.
6 Confirm no device is connected with the Wi-Fi Direct connection.
No Entry is displayed on Connection Status.
NOTE:
• When other device is connected (the mobile device name is displayed on Connection Status), you cannot use the Wi-Fi
Direct connection. Disconnect the other device from the Wi-Fi Direct network. For details, see "Disconnecting Wi-Fi
Direct Network" on page 93.
7 Click Apply New Settings.
The printer is ready to use the Wi-Fi Direct connection.
