4.4 Self-test
Test Menu
Press [MENU], [0], [0], [0], [0], [2], [2], and [ENTER] successively, and the self-test result
display will appear after several seconds. The figure below shows the self-test result display. If
any error has been detected, NG appears instead of OK.
ICs checked in the diagnostic test are shown in the table below. Note that parts level replacement
is not possible, replace an board level.

Item 5, TX Trigger Frequency: Reading in TX condition and with the antenna stopped.

Item 6, Video Level: Monitoring output signal level of EEPOT in the video amplifier. About
158 (3.1V) normal when using long pulse length. If 100, readjust video level. If less than 20,
the video line may open-circuit.

Item 7, Video Signal: NG when the video line is disconnected and the gain control knob is set
to fully ccw. But OK when the magnetron is defective and no transmission takes place , even
if the gain control knob is set to fully ccw.
