Procedure
1. Open the program file, and click the 1500M3.BAT file.
The message “TARGET POWER ON” appears.
2. Turn on the radar.
“Now Erasing” and then, “xxx percent completed” appears on the PC screen. Nothing appears
on the radar screen. The program update is terminated with the message “Finish Version up.”
3. Disconnect the interconnection cable.
4. Turn off the radar and turn on again. Confirm the program revision level and carry out the
default setting.
RP Program
The program is stored onto the flash ROM, U5 on the RP board.
Using Program Card
1. Insert the program card into the right-hand side card slot.
2. Turn on the radar.
3. The radar is programmed with new version after about 20 seconds while the count-down
screen is displayed on the screen. The CR2 on the RP board lights when the update has been
completed.
4. Turn off the radar and turn on again. Confirm the program revision level.
Using Program Disk
Same procedure as the update of radar system program.

The program is stored onto the PROMs, on the ARP board. The ROM is replaced to update the
program.
