8.8.3 Keyboard
The keyboard test checks the controls on the display unit for proper operation.
1. Press the MENU key to show the menu.
2. Press the SYSTEM CONFIGURATION soft key.
3. Press the SYSTEM SETUP soft key.
4. Press the TEST & CLEAR soft key.
5. Press the KEYBOARD & REMOTE TEST* soft key. *REMOTE TEST has no use.

6. Operate each control on the keyboard one by one. A key is functioning properly if its
on-screen location “fills” in black when the key is pressed. For the ENTER knob and
Trackball, rotate them to show their X-Y positions digitally, and push the ENTER knob
to confirm its function.
7. Press the CLEAR key three times to escape from the test.
8. Press the MENU key to close the menu.
