Net1 Network Services
This section describes the Net1 settings for the printer. To view these settings:
• From the printer web page, click Configure > Network Settings > Net1.
• From PrintSet 5, click Configuration > Network Settings > Net1.
Email Server
To view these settings:
• From the printer web page, click Configure > Network Services > Email Server.
• From PrintSet 5, click Configuration > Network Services > Email Server.
Setting Description Default
Primary DNS
Server
Sets the IP address of the primary server to which
the printer sends DNS requests. The DNS server
retains IP addresses and routing information for
the TCP/IP network.

Secondary DNS
Server
Sets the IP address of the secondary server to
which the printer sends DNS requests. The DNS
server retains IP addresses and routing
information for the TCP/IP network.

Setting Description Default
Queue Selects how the printer handles multiple Net1
connections.
On
Port Number Sets the port number that defines the Net1 TCP
port. The range is from 0 to 65535.

New Line
Character
Defines the characters that the printer echoes to
the host to indicate that it has moved to a new
line.
CR/LF
Timeout Sets the timeout value in seconds that printer
uses to check the existing connection when the
connection is terminated from other end. Range
is 60 to 700 seconds.

Secure
Communication
Determines if TLS encryption is used for data
communication.
Disable
Email Server Description Default
Mode Selects the mode the printer uses to communicate with the
email server.
Manual
Port Number Sets the port number the printer uses to communicate with
email server. Range is 1 to 65535.
