4.2.2.5 8 Gbit/s Fibre Channel Interface Module (Four Ports)
Function
An 8 Gbit/s Fibre Channel interface module (four ports) provides four 8 Gbit/s Fibre Channel
ports. If the port speed is auto-negotiable, the port will auto-negotiate 2 Gbit/s, 4 Gbit/s, or 8
Gbit/s. If the port speed is manually set but inconsistent with the data transfer speed of the
connected application server, the connection will be interrupted.
