Never remove cover

– Switch off the battery charger after charging and disconnect
it from the 12-V battery.
Finishing work
– Install the 12-V battery. ( p. 99)
– Mount the seat. ( p. 63)
– Install the air filter box cover. ( p. 63)
14.4 Changing main fuse
Warning
Fire hazard Incorrect fuses overload the electrical system.
– Only use fuses with the required ampere value.
– Do not bypass or repair fuses.

The main fuse protects all electrical power consumers of the vehicle. It is located in the starter relay
housing under the seat.
Preparatory work
– Remove the air filter box cover. ( p. 63)
– Remove the seat. ( p. 62)

Pull EFI control unit

upward off the rubber lugs

hang to the side.

Pull starter relay
