The following information is provided in the logs for each of the events listed above:
• Machine type, model, and serial number of the reporting machine
• The UserID initiating the event
• Level of severity
• Trap ID
• Description of the event

SMI-S support
This section describes the Storage Management Initiative - Specification (SMI-S) service
provided by the TS3500 Tape Library.
SMI-S defines a standard interface for interoperable, extensible, and secure management of
