- Position a n ew gasket.
- Fit the tappet cover (2) on the head.
- Insert the cover fixing screws (1) and tighten them to a
torque of 20—24Nm.

- If the side inspection covers have been removed, fit on
both sides of the tappet cover together with the gasket.
- Tighten the screws of the inspection covers to a torque
of 7—10 Nm.

NOTENOTE
NOTE
The cover fixing screws have different lengths:
M8x1.25x40 front screws (three per cover)
M8x1.25x25 rear screws (two per cover)
Always change the seal.
Always chan ge the O—ring in t he assembly phase.
Lubricate the O-rings with vaseline before fitting.
- Clean the injector seat (1) thoroughly and fit the injector
complete with mounting bracket (2) in its seat pressing
it until it clicks an d is correctly in serted.
- Screw down the M10x1.5x70mm injector fixing screw
to a torque of 32÷36 Nm.
- Fit all the electro—injectors.
