3.23 RETRIEVAL PROCEDURE
WARNING
● Before starting retrieval measures, inform the responsi-
ble safety department.
● Check whether fuel or oil has flown out.
● Observe the local fire prevention- and safety regulations.
CAUTION
Contact your local Komatsu service station for all the neces-
sary instructions for safe and economic retrieval procedures
of your Shovel
OTICE
Select the sequence of retrieval steps with regard to the sta-
bility of the Shovel. It must be prevented that the removal of
main components impairs the stability of the Shovel
GENERAL
The ”Assembly Procedure Manual” in volume 2 binder contains
information for lifting the main components of the Shovel.
Provide adequate crane and lifting gear with sufficient lifting
capacity.
