4.8.3 RADIATORS - CHECK COOLANT LEVEL

WARNING
DO NOT remove the radiator pressure cap (9), illust. Z21770
from a hot engine. Wait until the temperature is below 50°C
before removing the pressure cap (9). Failure to do so can
result in personal injury from heated coolant spray or steam.
Press the red button on the radiator pressure cap to allow
the pressure to escape. Turn the radiator cap slowly counter-
clockwise to the safety stop, then continue to turn until cap
is free to be removed.
The coolant level should be in the upper field of the sight gauges
(7). If necessary add coolant.

Refer to the Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual for
the correct coolant composition.
4.8.4 TRACK GROUPS - CLEAN
See (10), illustration Z 21770.
Clean track groups especially during the cold season.
(6) Coolant expansion tank of front and rear engine radi-
ators
(7) Coolant level sight gauge on front and rear coolant
expansion tanks
(8) Cover plates on power house roof above front and
rear radiator pressure caps
(9) Radiator pressure caps
