► Screw in the tubular nuts clockwise us-
ing the retainer rod.
► Insert the retainer rod into the tubular
nuts.
► Secure the retainer rod with the spring
cotter pin.
► Fold down the side collision protection,
if necessary (see "5.14 Side collision pro-
tection", pg.46).
ü The spare wheel is inserted.
5.15.3 Spare wheel in the pallet stor-
age box
Turnframe trailers can be equipped with a
spare wheel in the pallet storage box. In
this version, the spare wheel is fastened to
a pull-out bracket in the pallet storage box.
Spare wheel removal
► Open the pallet storage box (see "5.17
Pallet storage box", pg.51).
► Lift the pull-out bracket out of the
locks.
► Remove the spare wheel.
ü The spare wheel has been removed.
Spare wheel insertion
► Place the spare wheel on the pull-out
bracket.
► Lift the pull-out bracket with the spare
wheel into the lock and slide it into the
pallet storage box.
► Secure the spare wheel to prevent it
sliding away.
► Close the pallet storage box (see "5.17
Pallet storage box", pg.51).
ü The spare wheel is inserted.

Spare wheel removal
► Fold up the side collision protection, if
necessary (see "5.14 Side collision protec-
tion", pg.46).
► Remove the spring cotter pin.
► Remove the retainer rod from the tubu-
lar nuts.
► Unscrew the tubular nuts from the
screws counterclockwise using the re-
tainer rod.
► Remove the screws downwards from
the spare wheel bracket.
► Remove the spare wheel from the
bracket.
ü The spare wheel has been removed.
Spare wheel insertion
► Place the spare wheel on the bracket.
► Insert the screws into the bracket.
► Screw the tubular nuts onto the
screws.
► Screw in the tubular nuts clockwise us-
ing the retainer rod.
► Insert the retainer rod into the tubular
nuts.
