6.4.14 Installing/removing the hose drum
Installing/Removing the hose drum requires using an auxiliary crane with
sufficient bearing capacity;

Installing For crane operation you must install the hose drum, if it is not already
installed.
• Attach the hose drum (1) using a strap sling
of sufficient load bearing capacity.
• (A) – Remove the pins (2) from the holder.
• (B) – Hoist the hose reel (1) into the holder (3).
• Secure the hose drum (1) to the holder (3)
using the pins (2).
• Secure the pin.

Risk of accidents from hoses springing back!
Hold the hoses tightly before releasing the locking device. You must take
special care not to release the hoses before you have hung them on the
main boom. Otherwise the hoses will retract uncontrollably and can injure
people or damage parts of the truck crane.
