3.1 Whistling Sound When Closing the Door
Symptom:
When the oven is in a heated state and the oven door is opened and then
closed again, there is a whistling sound.
Cause:
When opening the door, cool air gets into the oven cavity. The cool air expands in
the hot oven cavity and slightly increases the pressure when the door is closed.
Remedy:
None. The appliance is in good working order. The whistling sound cannot be
eliminated.
4 Service
4.1 Door Removal
1. Open the door to the fully open position.
2. Flip up the clamp arms on both hinges (Figure 020-1).

3. Slowly close the door until the clamps are touching the frame of the oven interior.
4. While holding the door with both hands, lift the door until the hinges
disengage. Remove the door. See Figure 020-2.
