To use quick program:
O
Press the QUICK PROGRAM/VCR Plus+ button on the
remote control. If the VCR is off, it will turn on. After tuning
your TV to the correct channel or"input, you will see the
VCR Plus+ "Pro_'am to record" screen, uuless the VCR's
memory is full.
If the VCR's memory is full, you will see the "recap" screen
(below left). You will need to use the CL_'<CEL button to erase
an entry before you can add another one.
O Complete programming as described in "Programming your
VCR to record," or "Programming with VCR Plus+." When you
are finished, press the QUICK PROGRAM/VCR Plus+ button
again. If the VCR is stopped, it will turn off and be ready to
record your program at a later time. If the VCR is playing,
recording, fast forwarding or rewinding, l:he menus will turn
off, but the VCR :power will remain on.
When you are finished with all programming, be sure the
VCR power is OFF and the pro wammed recording liglht (l_)
is lit. However, if you haw_ a cable box, leave it turned ON.
Additionally, if the HS-U560, does not control your cable box,
leave the box tm_ed to the station you ',vi_h to record.
If you press the QUICK PROGRAM/VCR Plus+ button, but the
clock is not set, you will see the "Set the clock" menu.
If you have set the A/V Network to ACTIVE, you should point
your remote control at the television when u_ing Quick Program.
UsingOne-Touch Recording(OTR)
One-Touch Recording (also called OTR) is a way to begin
recording immediately, but have your VCR stop recording and
turn off automatically after your show is over.
Beforeyoubegin,youneedto knowhow:
to view the picture coming from your VCR. (See page 23.)
O Load a tape that has not had its erasure tab removed into the
VCR. If you have not yet recorded on this tape, then the VCR
will test the tape with the PerfecTape feature. For more
information on this feature, please see page 53.
O Set the VCR's input to tuner. To do this, press the INPUT
button on the front panel or on the remote control until the
channel display shows on-screen or or. the front panel
fluorescent displlay.
O Select the channel you would like to r,_cord by using 1:he
CHANNEL buttons on the remote cot trol or the jog dial on
the front panel.
