Connect one RCA audio cable to the AUDIO
INPUT terminal on the other VCR. Connect
the other end of this cable to the AUDIO
OUTPUT terminal on the HS-U560 labeled
L. If the other VCR is mono, you need a Y-
adapter to hear audio on both channels.
If the other VCR has stereo inputs, connect
another RCA audio cable to the AUDIO
INPUT terminal of the other VCR. Connect
the other end of this cable to the HS-U560
AUDIO OUTPUT terminal labeled R.

Set the input of the other VCR to "External."
Put a blank tape into tbe other VCR and
find the place where you want to begin
recording. Press STOP.
Put the tape you want to copy into the
HS-U560 and find the place from which you
want to begin copying. Press STOP.
O On the other VCR, press record (REC), and
then PAUSE.

Connect a video cable to the VIDEO INPUT
terminal on the other VCR. Connect the
other end of this cable to the VIDEO
OUTPUT terminal on the HS-U560 labeled
VIDEO OUT.
Set the audio monitor on the HS-U560 to
"STEREO." (See page 27.)
O On the HS-U560, press PLAY, then PAUSE.
_) Release the PAUSE button on both VCRs at
the same time.
When finished, press STOP on both VCRs.

_Important:
The child lock feature prevents others from using your VCR. To
lock the VCR:
O Press and hold down the DISPLAY button on the remote
control for about 8 seconds. The LOCK light on the
fluorescent display will light up.
To cancel the child lock, press and hold down the DISPLAY
button for about 8 seconds, until the LOCK light on the
fluorescent display goes out.
You can lock the VCR with the power off, even if the VCR is
standing by for a programmed recording. ]f you lock the VCR with
no cassette in it, the VCR will not accept a cassette.
