Voice VLAN Properties
To display the Voice VLAN Properties page, click Switching Voice VLAN Basic
Properties.
To configure Voice VLAN:
1. Fro
m the Voice VLAN Status field, enable or disable Voice VLAN on the switch. If the
switch does not handle traffic from IP phones, the status should be disabled.
2. From the V
oice VLAN ID field, select the VLAN to use for voice traffic on the switch. The
VLAN must already exist on the switch. For information about how to create VLANs, see
VLAN Configuration on p
age 86.
3. From the Class of Servi
ce field, set the CoS tag value to be reassigned for packets
received on the Voice VLAN when Remark CoS is enabled.
4. From the Remark CoS
field, select Enable or Disable to reassign the CoS tag value to
packets received on the Voice VLAN.
5. From the V
oice VLAN Aging Time field, specify the amount of time after the last IP phone’s
OUI is aged out for a specific port. The port will age out after the bridge and voice aging
time.
6. Click Canc
el to cancel the configuration on the screen and reset the data on the screen to
the latest value of the switch.
7. If you make any change
s to this page, click Apply to send the updated configuration to the
switch.
