3. Connecting to a Computer
Selecting a connecting method between different
segments
The printer can use wired LAN and wireless LAN simultaneously, to connect a device out of
the segment, enable the default gateway of the connection method first.
[Enabling Default Gateway] is [Wired] by factory default. When connecting between different
segments using wired LAN, the following steps are not required. Change the settings only
when connecting between different segments using wireless LAN.

Press the scroll button several times to select [Admin Setup] and press the
«ENTER» button.

Enter the administrator password using the numeric (0-9) keys, and then press
the «ENTER» button.
The factory default administrator password is "123456". If the administrator password is
changed, enter the updated password.

Check that [Network Setup] is selected, and then press the «ENTER» button.

Check that [Enabling Default Gateway] is selected, and then press the
«ENTER» button.

Press the scroll button to select [Wireless(Infrastructure)] and press the
«ENTER» button.
