Using a ash ( ash photography)
The ash can be set manually as required. The ash can be used for ash
photography in a variety of shooting conditions.

Remove the hot shoe cover from the ash unit and attach the ash to the
camera.
• Slide the ash unit all the way in, stopping when it contacts the back of the shoe and
is securely in place.

Changing orientation of the ash
You can change the vertical and horizontal orientation of
the ash unit. Bounce shooting is also possible.
Cautions
Please be aware that with bounce shooting, the
intensity of the ash may be insuf cient.
Removing the ash unit
Press the UNLOCK switch while removing the ash unit.

Move the ash ON/OFF lever to the ON position, and turn on the camera.
When not using the ash, return the lever to the OFF position.
