HOOD / SIDE PANEL SERVICE
AXYS SIDE PANELS
CAUTION
The hood and side panels protect the operator from
moving parts. Never operate a snowmobile with the
side panels open or removed. Always ensure that the
hood and side panels are installed and securely latched
before starting the engine unless instructed to do so for
servicing reasons.
SIDE PANEL OPENING / REMOVAL
1. Rotate the two 1/4 turn fasteners

at the front and
rear of the panel.
2. Release the strap
w
at the lower edge of the panel.
3. Open the side panel, then pull the panel outward to
release the tabs at the bottom.
SIDE PANEL INSTALLATION
1. Align the tabs at the bottom of the panel with the slots
in the fender.
2. Firmly insert the tabs.
3. Close the panel and secure with the lower strap and
two 1/4 turn fasteners.
