FUEL TANK REMOVAL – RMK
WARNING
Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive under
certain conditions. Do not smoke or allow open flames
or sparks in or near the fuel tank / fuel system.
CAUTION
It is possible for pressurized fuel to be present when
disconnecting the fuel line. It is recommended to allow
the vehicle to sit for a period of one hour after shutting
off the engine before servicing the fuel line. This allows
the exhaust to cool and fuel pressure to drop.
1. Remove the side panels and hood.
2. Remove the L-wrench

3. Remove the torx fasteners

and push rivets

retaining the intake plenum.
4. Remove the three push darts

securing the
console.
5. Remove the console
t
by moving it to the right side
of the vehicle.
NOTICE
Disconnect the switch harness
y
during removal.
Do not untie the recoil handle. Lay the console to the
side of the vehicle.
