ENGINE INSTALLATION
1. Place the engine in the chassis.
NOTICE
Have an assistant help lift the engine.
2. Place the oil pump in the chassis bracket.
NOTICE
The connector should be facing upward. Ensure the oil
pump is fully engaged in the bracket.
3. Verify all engine mounting fasteners and threaded
bore threads are clean and dry prior to fastener
installation.
4. Loosely install the washers and left side engine
mounting bolts

NOTICE
Apply Loctite 262 to 4-6 threads in middle of threaded
section of the fastener prior to installation.
5. Loosely install the washer and right rear engine
mounting bolt

NOTICE
Apply Loctite 262 to 4-6 threads in middle of threaded
section of the fastener prior to installation.
6. Loosely install the fasteners

securing the right front
engine mount from the bottom of the clip.
7. Torque all the engine mounting bolts to specification.
TORQUE
Engine Mounting Fasteners:
48 ft-lbs (65 N·m)
Apply Loctite 262
Front MAG Engine Mounting Fasteners:
22 ft-lbs (30 N·m)
8. If the throttle body was removed, see Throttle Body
Installation page 5.11.
NOTICE
Ensure the clamps are properly oriented. See
Component Orientation Views page 3.52.
