DIAGNOSTIC POWER CONNECTOR
The power up connections have been consolidated into
one connector. The diagnostic connector can be found
just below the digital wrench diagnostic connector.
Connect the diagnostic power connector to the Next-Gen
Service Power Harness (PS-52573) to test for or supply
battery power to the specified systems.
The function of each connector on the Next-Gen Service
Power Harness (PS-52573) are as follows:
Chassis
PWR
Connect 12 VDC battery voltage to this
connector to power all DC chassis
components including hand warmers
and thumb warmer.
(RD/WH – BRN Circuits)
Gauge PWR
Connect 12 VDC battery voltage to
power instrument cluster, lights, and to
supply power to EV actuator when
viewing data list items and the engine
is off.
(RD/BK – BRN Circuits)
Critical PWR
Connect 12 VDC battery voltage to this
connector to power fuel pump and oil
pump. Also provides the power to the
EV Learn Relay.
(RD – BRN Circuits)
ECU PWR
Connect 12 VDC battery voltage to this
connector to power the ECU, Digital
Wrench, and PBR.
(OG – BRN Circuits)
Fuel Prime
This connector connects to the prime
jumper and connects the ground for
the fuel pump. The fuel prime and
prime jumper MUST be plugged
connected on the Next-Gen Service
Power Harness for vehicle to run.
Prime
Jumper
This connector connects to the fuel
prime and connects the ground for the
fuel pump. The fuel prime and prime
jumper MUST be plugged connected
on the Next-Gen Service Power
Harness for vehicle to run.
IMPORTANT
The power connector MUST be plugged into main
harness mating connector for vehicle to run.
If fuel system is leaking or open, disconnect fuel pump
prime connection ‘before’ powering up critical power
connection
