4. Lubricate a new wiper seal with shock oil and install
into bearing with the tapered side facing out.

Reference sectional view for location of the wiper seal

5. Install a new bearing cap O-ring. Install the spring.
6. Position the spring in the center of the bearing cap.
Make sure one of the set screws secures the tail of
the spring and the other three set screws center and
retain the spring.
Shock Rod / Rebound Adjuster Assembly
1. Verify the rebound rod bore in the shock rod is clean
and dry. Obtain a new rebound piston O-ring and coat
it with shock oil. Install the O-ring in the groove on the
rebound piston. Install the rebound piston on rebound
rod into the bottom of the shock rod.
